The position will be responsible Food Safety and Quality Assurance of products produced within the warehouse. This position answers to the Quality Assurance Supervisor and Director of Food Safety. The technician shall monitor and record Critical Control Points with the Fresh Cuts department. Regular testing of chemical systems and metal detector as well as documentation of distribution of tools is required. Must inspect outgoing product as well as completion of sanitation duties. Various testing must be conducted in order to stay compliant with food safety standards.
Minimum Competency Requirements:
- Understand critical nature of Food Safety and Sanitation.
- Knowledge of the Company’s policies and procedures relating to the receipt and movement of inventory within the Company’s warehouse.
- Ability to properly utilize Produce Pro software in the execution of the Essential Functions.
- Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
